Ghost memories reverberating fragments of light within nothingness – “beyond the void”, byss and abyss, our whispering shades of dichotomies, wandering through this luminiferous ether.


Glass Isle is the alias of the London-based artist Zuleika AvTes. Working primarily with sound, she integrates electronic experimentation and field recordings with resonance patterns, abstract transiences and elements of chance; frequencies juxtapose sound-sigils as ritualistic metaphors. Her work also incorporates the concepts of liminality, memory, time, the unconscious and archetypes.
